This training series includes three modules on Program Evaluation. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), "effective program evaluation is a systematic way to improve and account for public health actions by involving procedures that are useful, feasible, ethical, and accurate."¹ In the first module, we introduce the basic steps of program development including how evaluation fits in. In the second module, you will learn about the development of a logic model and how it is used for program planning and evaluation. The final module explores the six steps and four standards in CDC's Framework for Program Evaluation.
