This training series includes two modules on Community Dimensions of Public Health Practice, one of the eight domains of the The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals.¹ Community partnerships are beneficial to achieving broad public health goals, including the development, implementation, evaluation, and promotion of community-based public health programs. It is important to develop relationships with partners and stakeholders for a given public health problem and understand the principles of community engagement.
