This course provides an overview of how to conduct a dental screening and apply fluoride varnish in a school-based setting. The course also includes information on identifying oral health problems, making a dental referral, and providing oral health education to children.
Audience
This course is intended for medical professionals, including physicians and nurses, as well as other health professionals who work with children.
Learning Outcome
As a result of this activity, learners will expand their knowledge and competence in identifying common dental problems, the urgent need for dental care, and application of fluoride varnish for children.
